★ Living, Bleeding is a SFW 16+ for-charity fanzine centered around the cross-over ship of Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary) and Simon the Convict (Iron Lung). While mostly focused on the recent films, contributors are allowed to draw from both the book and the video game canon.Our plan is to create a physical zine consisting of short works of fanfiction/poetry/non-fiction (around 2.5K – 4k words) and fan art (digital and traditional).

★ What is a zine? The term fanzine comes from "fan" + "zine" (short for magazine). It's a self-published, often collaborative, book with a compilation of works (art, writing, merchandise, etc.) made from fans of a certain community. Usually smaller-scale projects, the production is limited in volume and time.★ Does this zine also include queerplatonic BloodyMary? Yes! Both explicitly romantic as well as queerplatonic BloodyMary are represented in this zine.★ Is this zine SFW? Yes! However, due to horror elements of the Iron Lung film, gore is expected. All pieces will have content warnings (body horror, angst, etc.) and there won't be any explicit sexual depicting works.★ Do you need prior zine experience to apply? No, this will not affect your application.★ How will the contributors be compensated? All contributors are guaranteed a PDF copy and digital merch. Depending on sales, this can be upgraded to the physical compensation. This is a for-charity zine and thus all proceeds will go to a charity chosen via a poll after the interest check. Remaining on theme for the zine, we are donating to a charity related to climate change.★ Is there a rough timeline for the production of this zine?

Yes, just make sure you communicate this with your designated mod in the correct channel.★ What happens if we miss a deadline?
As long as you have communicated with your mods that you will not meet the deadline / have missed the deadline, you can ask for an extension. However, failure to communicate over an extended period of time will lead to you being dropped from the project unfortunately.
